About me
Hi there! My name is Preethika Chivukula. I am an MS Biomedical Engineering student at Columbia University and am currently based in New York City. I am currently seeking Full-Time positions in the Medical Device Industry and Pharmaceutical Industry.
I am passionate about communicating and understanding people’s healthcare needs and developing innovating solutions!
I have experience working in the wet lab developing biocompatible hydrogels for drug delivery and wound healing in two internships at the University of Alberta and Technical University of Munich. I am currently working in a Robotics lab where we are making a hand orthosis for stroke patients. My academic background is in Biomedical Engineering and my skills include a range of laboratory procedures and technical skills like Python, MATLAB, SolidWorks, Arduino, Microfluidics, Hydrogels development and Design Thinking.
