This is a special project for me. I got selected as a MITACS GLOBALINK Scholar and got the opportunity to work at the University of Alberta, Canada for 3 months under Dr. Ravin Narain. The aim of this project was to synthesize carbohydrate-based thermo-responsive triblock copolymers and boronic acid-based thermo-responsive triblock copolymers via reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization and evaluate the performance of formed hydrogel in 3D cell culture and cryopreservation.
